Breakthrough in a Break-out Room

This past Tuesday, at a Zoom prayer meeting in my breakout room I met Grace and Lydia to pray for personal needs.  The three of us had never met before. Grace shared her request for healing then we prayed.

For some reason Lydia was muted for quiet a while and did not say a word! So, I reached out to her and asked her if she had a prayer request.  She unmuted finally and shared how distressed she was feeling because of being jobless.  I led in prayer as we all agreed, when we said Amen, Grace, immediately reached out to Lydia and asked her for her phone number, she said she was touched to offer her a temporary job while she was waiting for a more permanent job. Right there and then Lydia was so excited and her face lit up as she gave her the number. This was a demonstration of Isaiah 65:24 “I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” All glory to God!

This confirms the verse that says “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16

Lydia was so glad to find a job in that moment! God met her need in a break-out-room and David says “This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.” Psalm 118:23. Yes, He is the God of breakthroughs even during stressful times!
