“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” Numbers 23:19
People alter their opinions, break their promises, modify their plans, speak lies, and procrastinate. They can also distort facts, twist the truth and are easily tossed about like waves on the sea. But God’s truth stands!
The account of creation explains the awesomeness of God, the Designer Artist. He is limitless and capable of doing anything He chooses to do when He decides. The fact that He created this wonderful world in six days shows that He can do anything at anytime. From what the Bible says, there is yet still so much more to come than what we can comprehend!
Abraham declared, ”the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.” Romans 4:17 (b) This testimony is still witnessed today, the perfect Creator who called the world into existence has all the power to do what only He can do. Do you ever wonder how we got here! How he formed man from the dust , breathed his life into him and man became a living person? He performed miracles in Abraham and Sarah’s lives when Isaac was born. He took care of Moses and made him a leader. He brought Jesus, Lazarus and Dorcas back to life as the Bible narrates. Yes, He is Supernatural and He is still doing the same today!
God is still in the business of healing and performing miracles today. Recently, I met Corlan Blissett at an authors’ book event, she is a Christian retired registered nurse who shares a powerful healing testimony of how Jesus brought her back to life. She actively shares in person to encourage God’s children to love God more! Her moving story is in her book “The Supernatural is Real” which can be found on Amazon.
Faith in God does not look at the non-existent; it looks at a promise. Every promise that God makes comes into existence. When it is humanly impossible, it is possible with God. I am reminded of the verse that says: “If the same Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the deal will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.” Rom 8:11. Obedience is the Key to God’s daily revelation in our lives.
Dear Lord, Help me to know that I am you masterpiece. You created me a new in Christ Jesus, to do things you planned long ago. Help me to continually experience your love and presence. Amen
Meditate on: “..... humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God, everything is possible”.
