Have you ever made a mistake and you want to erase it but it is rather too late because you hit send already or you made the wrong turn on the Highway and you have a long delay arriving your destination?
One day a colleague I worked with some time back, sent an unpleasant email to me that was meant for someone else but for some reason it landed in my inbox by mistake. This could have caused serious consequences for her.
When she realized this, she ran to me and begged me for forgiveness, she knew she had done wrong. Well, because of my love for Jesus, I choose to forgive even though it was quite shocking!
Well recently, I hit send on an email prematurely! For some reason I could not recall it. It was already in the inbox of the receiver. I then decided to send an explanation. The recipient had already read it and made a decision to take action. Surprisingly, I received a pleasant response the next day! Immediately, I was reminded of Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them”.
I realized that the first incident was really a way to test me of my love for the Lord and testimony. The second one was a reminder that our mistakes are never wasted. God allowed it to happen that way although I cannot give an explanation and I really don’t have to because God is Omniscient and knows what is best.
