Valley Low or Mountain High

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Yesterday, I was reminded that no matter where we are, valley low or mountain high, the Lord is with us. I attended a Celebration of a beautiful life with a powerful testimony that reflected Jesus in many ways! Then later on in the day, a Thanksgiving celebration of the goodness of God! This was a reminder to me that we can experience God in unprecedented ways. He overwhelms us with His love and delights us with His songs. He is an “awesome” and “infinite” God! We celebrate Christmas and then Easter, both are very powerful times! He is Jehovah Jireh, always enough in every circumstance.

What an amazing God we serve! Jesus attended a wedding celebration in Cana of Galilee in John 1:2. In John 11:25-26, He went to Lazarus’s home during a very difficult time and this confirms that in Christ we will and are to live forever! We truly serve a Mighty God who is always with us and calms the storms that surround us. In our weakness we ask our “whys” but we can count on Him for all answers since he Himself experienced what we go through daily. Each person's valleys and mountains are unique but we all have the same God who loves us all immensely!

Dear God, help me to be content whether I am in the valley low or the mountain high and to know that I am you child at all times and you are my best option. Be my comforter, healer and peace when I am overwhelmed and help me to trust you because you are totally dependable. Amen
