Recently, I listened to a Presentation by my colleague on “VR”
He said that Controllers build their world from scratch:
Requirements
Internet, headsets for (connectivity), controllers, Alt Space area, and the enablement to share called -Casting.
As he shared, I found this as another analogy to “Space Station Analogy” but just in a different setting. Also reminding of listening and how much we can relate this to listening and connecting to the Lord in our daily interactions:
The difference here is that the Lord is all the time available. It’s us who have to be intentional about connecting with Him in obedience to His Word and hence surrendering to Him to have an intimate relationship with Him. This will enable us navigate our life on earth His way with His confidence and experience victory in our Christian walk.
As a Christian, you need a place to concentrate, a journal, a pen and just being intentional to listen and write down what you hear.
In VR as you spend time there in your world with the other controller casting - you get more comfortable.
So being intentional in a good posture to hear the Lord: using headphones to connect and interact avoiding distractions, being in an environment to focus, concentrate and draw closer to Him. As you spend time there (in your world together) you get more comfortable with Him. The more time spent with the Lord, the more comfortable you get to experience Him.
You gain more courage, openness and are able to face the real world with confidence as you encounter situations just as in VR and creativity. We definitely need to spend time more with the Lord who is real.
